The Albrechtsens

A brief introduction to us, the Albrechtsens. This is us,
coming out of the temple after being sealed on April 25th, 2009.

This is Nathan, the husband.

He is from Clinton, Iowa, the fourth of five. He is currently going to BYU, working towards his Master's degree in mechanical engineering. After he finishes his thesis this summer, he'll start his MBA in the fall, also at BYU. He enjoys hamburgers, home improvement projects, and organizing our linen closet. He is my favorite.

This is me, Kimber, the wife.

I am from Boise, ID. I am a senior at BYU, majoring in marriage and family studies, and minoring in English. I love to cook new things, which Nathan sometimes loves. I'm taking three creative writing classes this semester, and I am so excited!

We met in Seattle on a blind date in the summer of 2008. We were set up by Nathan's ex-girlfriend's twin sister--ha! We went to a Mariner's game, had a great time, and after even better second and third dates, we "dated" for about two weeks until I left for Spain on study abroad. We kept in touch by email and Skype, and when I returned near Thanksgiving I decided he was just as cute and fun as when I left, and he was relieved that I hadn't come back fat from eating too much Spanish tortilla. We got engaged on Valentine's Day 2009, and married in April. We live in Wymount and are having the time of our lives!
